Animals

Welcome

Today's card features a beautiful stamp which I do not have a maker for. If anyone knows I would be very grateful.
I stamped directly onto a piece of DP from a 6x6 pad by Lawn Fawn called Watercolour Wishes that I won last year., and coloured with copics.
The message is a clear sticker which I adhered to a scrap of the same paper and cut out with a die. Both pieces have been edged with a black copic and then layered onto a card base

Black and White

Hi everyone
Today's card is for the challenge at Artistic Stamper.
I have CASed a card that I saw on Pinterest, but used  different stamps. The top panel has a splatter stamp from Paper Artsy (with extra dots with a copic), the middle one is from Simon Says Stamp, (flowers coloured with a black copic), the bottom one is unknown, and the bigger butterfly is from  Cornish Heritage Farms set called All Things Considered., which I embossed and then also coloured with a black copic
They are all stamped with Gina K amalgam.
The ribbon trim is actually black card, and the 2 small butterflies are punched. I also used some spotty washi tape

Under the sea

Hello and welcome
This was a commissioned card - the request was for two diving buddies and underwater
I made a background in sea-like colours using various inks and paints and then stamped with my Kaisercraft stamp and versamark. I used 2 different ep colours for the seaweed. I found the diver images online, printed and fussycut, and also adhered some diecut starfish. All mounted onto a dark blue card
They were very thrilled with the result

Funky Flowers

Hello and welcome

Today's card was inspired by a video I watched by Gerry Van Der Velden. I have followed her instructions to make my background using distress oxides and a brayer. I then did my own thing by stamping with Stampers Anonymous word stamp through a stencil. I then stamped with these delightful flowers by Jofy and stamped again on scrap paper. I used the following Promarkers to colour the flower heads which are fussy cut and adhered
C446 Marine
C426 Verdigris
C719 Pastel Blue
G956 Ocean Teal
I have added some cute buttons and also layered my sentiment with foam tape.

Favourite!

Hello and welcome back
Today's card was an experiment using paint and a brayer for the background. I made four while I had the equipment out, so you will see some more cards coming soon! I added some drops of water and some pearl embossing powder. This was a technique that I watched by Sara Naumann on her YouTube channel, but of course mine turned out a little differently. I stamped my flower with Brilliance 'pearlescent sky blue' and cut it out with my Scan and Cut. I added some diecut leaves and also some micro beads in the centre of the flower. This stamp is an old favourite that I have had a number of years

Love

Welcome

I have made today's card for the challenge at UnstampaBelles where the option is stencils and spray. I created the background using Dylusions Shimmer sprays in 'Postbox red' and 'Pure Sunshine', and then oversprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist 'Iridescent gold'. I the used 'worn lipstick' DI and my new makeup brush(life changing for me) to colour the background as the white was too stark  I took an extra photo to try and show the gorgeous colours and shine.
I punched out a dragonfly twice, painted it gold and also painted the chipboard word as well. All layered onto a black card base

Welcome
Today's card has somehow managed to scan on an angle, it is not really crooked like that.
I have made this using the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge. My base card is kraft and have layered a small check dp on top. My flags are also cut from dp and the image is from a set of stickers that I won recently from Stamplorations. (Thanks Shery)

Spurs!

Hi everyone

Today's card is a fun one that I have made for the challenge at Emerald Creek Dares, where the subject is Rhinestone Cowboys.
The mood board had boots, so I went with that. This is a digi from Clarity stamps that I printed onto some DP, and coloured with copics. Ialso printed the quote that I found online.
I then sponged with Versamark and used Seth Apter Baked Velvet - Sedona which I won from Emerald creek a while ago. It gives a great effect over anything.
I then adhered it to a black card base.

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog

Party Time!

My second post today!
The challenge this week at Passion for Promarkers is '4 legged friends' so of course I had to make a card with this stamp from one of my favourite sets. I have the bird crazy set and the cat set as well, and use them a lot.
I stamped onto a piece of DP and again onto some specialty (for markers) card. After colouring with
O345 saddle brown
O427 cinnamon
O727 caramel
R766 molten red
B346 azure
I fussy cut and glued into position. The Never too old is from Art Impressions and the happy birthday is from an old set that I have lost the name from. I added some sparkly gems too.

Travel

Welcome

Today's card is all about travel, something that we now find difficult to do as the flights are so long from New Zealand.
The base is from a masterboard that I painted some time ago, and not sure what acrylics I used. The smaller stamped pieces are from a Recollections set called 'Going Places'
I handmade the tag from some kraft card and used a stamp that I bought in USA by Hampton Art, embossed with black filigree ep

Girl Power

Welcome
Today's card is for the challenge at Southern Girls where the subject is 'girl power'
I have chosen to use an image of 'Rosie the Riveter' Here is some info about her

Rosie the Riveter is a cultural icon of World War II, representing the women who worked in factories and shipyards during World War II, many of whom produced munitions and war supplies. These women sometimes took entirely new jobs replacing the male workers who joined the military. Wikipedia
I Have layered the image onto a black stitched circle and adhered to some DP and onto my white base card. I printed the words and cut into a fishtail banner. Finished off with some Nuvo drops in Liquid Mercury to represent rivets.
I hope you like it

Live your Dreams

Welcome
Today's card features the beautiful butterfly from Stampin Up - Swallowtail.
I first stamped it with Brilliance 'pearlescence sky blue' using my Misti and then again with vesamark. I have embossed it with Magical Mysteries 'Mermaid Fin'  which  was in a wonderful assortment of goodies that I recently won from Emerald Creek (Thanks so much) Hopefully you can see the beautiful sheen, as it was very
hard to photograph I have cut it out and adhered it to a piece from a Lawn Fawn pad and added a Hero Arts message embossed in gold. I also went around the edge with a very pale grey tombow marker, as this helps the image to stand out
