Under the Sea!

Today's card was an experiment to see how rock salt affected a watercolour card sprayed with Dylusions. I loved the result, and as it looked a bit like underwater, I used my new stamp set from Kaisercraft called 'Coastal Escape' with Memento 'tuxedo black'. It didn't show up very well so I went over it with my white Sharpie paint pen(love this pen) I stamped the seahorse on a scrap, coloured with copics and clear embossed, then layered him with mounting foam

Challenges -
Rubberdance - embossing
Penny Black and More - all creatures
Pixies Crafty Workshop - using snippets
That's Crafty Challenge - only cards

Have a great week and happy crafting

Hi everyone.

Today's card uses a fabulous stamp from Paperbabe called 'Peony & bud'. I used a lemon coloured card and stamped it with 'Shades die ink - Vanilla Cream.
I glurd it slightly over the edge, then added a printed word and a layered butterfly.

A card for Max

A lovely design from Cardmaking Paradise that I used to make for Max's 17th birthday. I used some DP for the M and then matched the colours for A and X. I sponged the edges with DI walnut stain, and the hung the numbers from the X. He was thrilled with it.

I am entering this at Allsorts for name or number, (I have used both)

Red, white and blue!

This week's challenge at Allsorts, is to use the colours of your flag, which is of course red, white, and blue

I have used  older SU stamps for the words and the yacht, but first I made a background by swiping on some dox faded jeans, and di weathered wood. I restamped the yacht on white card and paper pieced the sails. The white highlights on the water were with a white sharpie, and I also added a wee bit of glitter on the water. Mounted onto white and then a red card base.
Allsorts - colours of your flag
Southern Girls - use any image
Pixies Crafty Workshop - the white was from my snippet box

Thanks for visiting and take care

Hi everyone. I am just sneaking in at the last minute with this entry for the Allsorts challenge which is for poppies.
I have used a lovely stamp from Crafty Individuals, and coloured it with copics and promarkers. I then trimmed it to size with my stitched rectangle die from Stamplorations The gold in the layered piece does not show up so well, but it looks very pretty IRL!
I can also enter at Paperbabe challenge, which is for flowers
