Wish

Hi everyone

First of all, welcome to my new follower, Carla Aerts, thank you

Today's card is the result of playing with some paints to make backgrounds. I first used 3 colours of Fresco paints, dotting them onto my card and then scraping across with an old credit card. I decided that I didn't like the colour combo, so mixed some perfect pearls into a little white paint and painted over the top, dabbing in some places to give a slight textured look

The circles from 'Round in Circles' (Rubberdance) were stamped with Brilliance graphite black, and the words from 'Affirmations' (Rubberdance) were stamped and embossed in detail white EP. I also coloured the large word lightly with a Sharpie paint pen

Good morning crafty friends.

Stitched Swans

First of all, a big welcome to my newest follower, Meg Patterson, thank you for joining

A last minute entry for the challenge at Creative Knockouts, where they have asked for 'all stitched up'

I have used a lovely sparkly black thread for this design, but it doesn't show in my scan. The edges are sponged with black soot DI and attached to a white base card.

I would also like to enter at Carlin's Card Paradise Challenge for a/g

Happy Happy Happy

I am back today with a card for the Stay Crafty/Hero Arts challenge.
They are wanting cards representing 'another year older'

I stamped 'happy' 3 times on the left, and then cut nine circles with my cuttlebug in two sizes. After layering them I added some little stickers, and glitter on the dark edges.
These were attached to a piece of dp and edged with a scrap of cotton ribbon

Snowman

Another entry for the BYSHCardmakers linky party

The snowman is a die from Creative Expressions, which I cut from a soft pearl card, and adhered to the red base. I ran a narrow piece of ds tape down the left edge and sprinkled with holographic glitter. A peeloff finished it off

Unforgettable

Good morning all

Today's card uses a background from my large box of trimmed backgrounds. I added some colour with fossilized amber DOX , a little frayed burlap, and a few water splashes

I stamped directly using Adirondak Espresso, and heat embossed with detail clear EP

The markers used to colour were Copic Y26 mustard, E79 cashew Y38 honey, and Creative Graphic 163 green bice

The branch was freehand cut from a scrap of paper and the sentiment is from an EF which has a lot of different words on it.

Outlined with a black marker and adhered to a white base card

Flowers

Hello all

After watching a demo by Eileen Goodwin, this is my attempt at her style.

I cut a circle template with a die and coloured the part circles with various shades of Memento ink

The stamp is from LaBlanche, and does not appear to have a name

After rounding the corners, and sponging with DI worn lipstick, I attached to my base card, and added some WOS to the butterflies and some enamel dots to the circle edges

Pink Butterfly

Hello crafty friends

Today's card follows a sketch from Cut It Up and I have used some scraps from a 6x6 pad by Prima. I diecut the rectangles using a stitched die and adjusting the size to what I needed. The circle is a stitched circle too. Sorry I don't know the brands as I have discarded the packaging long ago! The edges are sponged with DI worn lipstick, and the scrap for the butterfly was coloured with this also. It is a very plain butterfly shape, so I embossed it and highlighted the raised areas with some silver metallic paste. The body piece is covered with pink 'bling' but it has changed colour in the scan.

Hi everyone

Just sneaking in at the last minute with my entry for Allsorts where they are asking for 'girly'
I have had this stamp set for quite some time, and this is the first time I have used it.
I coloured with a mix of copics and promarkers, and was quite pleased with the hair, although I probably need more practice yet.
A piece of sparkly trim and a gold embellishment finished the bottom

Hi crafters, It's been a while since I posted, I hope you are all well

Today's card has a piece of yellow card which I ran through my cuttlebug with a folder from Provo Craft, it does not have a name. I swiped over it with dried marigold DI to high-lite the pattern.

My little robots are from a set by TPC Studio, which I stamped in black, cut around, and adhered.

Sail Away

Welcome, I hope you are all well

Something different for me today, and something I haven't done for a very long time, as I have arthritis, and find it difficult to prick the holes manually. I experimented using my Cameo Silhouette, to see whether I could scan the design and then cut it on the machine. I was pleased at the result, so you may see more stitched cards in the future. I mounted the panel on a dark blue card base, after sponging the edges with walnut stain DI. The words are stamped with a red Memento ink pad and clear embossed

Hi everyone and welcome
Today's card is suitable for a little girl's birthday, and I can add a greeting when I know who I will be giving it to.
I cut out the shape with my Cameo and sponged the edges,
the flowers were punched from vellum and then embossed with a swiss dots EF. I used a blue pen to outline the edges and then added some blue punched circles for the flower centres.
A ribbon tied to the handle is the finishing touch.

After roughly sketching some rocks and the sea with my copic markers, the lighthouse was adhered and the white pieces filled into the gaps.
I used a little WOS in gold for the lights and windows to give a touch of colour, then added the birds from Stampers Anonymous and the greeting from Stampin Up

Red Butterfly

Hi everyone, thanks for popping in

Today's card features embossing and debossing. I do not have the name of the folder, and suspect it may have been a freebie with a magazine.

I made three panels and ran my Memento ink pad (lady bug) along on two front sides and one reverse.

The butterfly was coloured to match and adhered over some white string, which was roughly gathered into a circle. I added some red 'bling' to the centre row of flowers and also the butterfly body

Here is a second pic after I decided to sponge the edges with the ink
