butterflies

 Hi and welcome
A quick post this morning as the butterfly challenge at Allsorts closes soon.
This is a very simple card, but looks great IRL, as the background dp is very sparkly. Unfortunately it does not show up in the scan.
I have adhered the piece to my white card base, added a strip of pink edged with a Fiskars punch, cut the word in vinyl, and attached and added a toning butterfly with diamantes for her body

Challenges

AAA birthday - things with wings

Fun and Laughter days

Hello friends and welcome back

Today's card features an image from Bizzy Becs Store that I was lucky enough to won in a recent challenge.
I have coloured her with Promarkers and diecut her out, adjusting the die to fit the image. I layered a piece of dp on the left side of my base card, added the image and then a sentiment, stamped onto a snippet, fussy cut and raised with mounting tape.

Birthday Butterflies

Hi and welcome to my lovely visitors.
I have taken a break from spring cleaning to spend some time in my craft room, as there are a few challenges I wished to enter.
I searched through my box of backgrounds, and chose this one, I wish I could remember how I made it!!
As it has a touch of gold I decided to emboss my image from Crafty Individuals in a bright gold ep
I stamped the butterflies again on a scrap and coloured them with Promarkers, then raised them with mounting tape. The sentiment is from Stampin Up, but I covered the word gorgeous and just used the Happy Birthday part.
The piece was outlined with the same blue promarker, and then attached to my card base

Challenges
Paperbabe #116 - Birthday
Dare to be Artsy - pastel colours (my b/g is pastel)
Artsy Stamper Challenge #13 - things with wings

Thinking Of You

Welcome back

Today,s card is for a friend who's husband now has terminal cancer.
Because we are in lockdown, we cannot visit, so I decided to make a card for them

I cut the feather outlines in a gold card on my silhouette and backed with some dp (unknown brand that I have had about 4 years) I rounded the corners of the blue layer and stamped in white detail EP, a flourish from a Stampers Anonymous set (mini ornates) that I bought in New York a number of years ago and have never used! I added a gold peeloff (also very old) remember when these were so popular! I don't think I will ever use mine up!
Layered onto a white linen look deckle edged base card, and the feathers are raised with mounting tape

challenges
Allsorts #566/7 - something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.
I used old - dp, stamp, peeloff
blue - background paper

I multiple stamped onto some designer paper, with GinaK black amalgam, and also stamped a sentiment from Unity in Shades dye ink (purple majesty). I overstamped in Versamark, then clear embossed. Thank heavens for my Misti, I would never be able to do this otherwise.
I added a little Wink of stella to the luna lights and also a white paint sharpie to high-lite

shopping!

Hi and welcome back.

Today's card is for my granddaughter's 14th birthday which is coming up this month.
I have based it on the challenge from Passion for Promarkers, which this week is for flowers and lace.
I have used a pretty piece of dp for my background which has bright colourful flowers on it.
My image is a digi from 'Girl about town' set, and it is very appropriate, as she loves clothes shopping.
I have coloured with the following Promarkers
cardinal red,  dusky rose,  cadet blue,  pastel beige,  cinnamon,  saddle brown,   caramel,  praline,
buttercup,  and pastel green
I added 2 rows of lace, which I deepened the colour with the dusky rose to match the girl;s blouse, and then finished with a co-ordinating flower
I hope she likes it!

Poppy Sparkle

Hello all

Another card today, made for the Memory Box challenge, which is to use glitter paper, or glue.
I diecut a piece of pearl metallic card with a TH die and backed it with a piece of red card which I glittered with WoW fine glitter.
I diecut my poppies twice, once in green card, and once in red card. I added Art Glitter glue and more of the WoW glitter to the red poppies, When dry, I trimmed them and glued to the green layer. A stamped bee and some washi tape completed the card

Steampunk!

Hi Everyone.
I hope you are all being very crafty, my country is in total lock-down, so I am having fun in my craft room to pass the time.

For this card, I stamped a piece of cream paper with some clocks and cogs to make my background. It looked too bright so I layered a piece of velum paper over it to soften.
I cut the penny-farthing on my cameo silhouette, and glued to the velum. I also added a small brad in each corner, and some peel offs that look like hinges. Then attached to my dark maroon base card.

Challenges
Artsy Stamper - lots of layers
