I used my Misti and stamped with Gina K Amalgam ink.
I have used 3 colours of Promarkers
Pastel Blue  C729
Pastel Yellow O949
Pastel Beige Y257
I also added 3 little blue diamantes to finish.
Layered onto a blue base card, and the hand cut banner is layered on top. I used the pastel yellow to edge the banner

Unstamped!

Hello, and thanks for visiting today

This card is for my DIL's birthday, which is tomorrow. I have used some pretty designer paper (sorry, I do not know the maker) choosing the bird box image for the front of the card.
I chose some of the text page for the centre 2 sections and the outer two are plain, but I have attached flowers and a butterfly. I used a die for the Happy Birthday, and also attached another butterfly on the front.
As I can enter the Unstampabelles challenge, I will answer the question - who am I - and say that I am a cardmaker who loves to try different styles
Other challenges

Bye for now

Mica

Hello and thanks for visiting
Today's card was cased from one I saw recently, so this is my version.
I used a piece of heavy watercolour card and painted my 3 strips of colour in an ombre style.
I stamped and clear embossed my flower image, and stamped the sentiment too.
I diluted some Lumiere Metallic Gold (I had forgotten I had these) and did some flicking with an old paint brush. The blob of gold that was left over was diluted with mica powder mixed with water, and lightly brushed over the flowers. Then attached to a black card base.
Challenges
Uniko - birthday
Mod Squad - use mica powders

Happy crafting - I will be back soon!

Luggage tag

Hello and welcome to my blog.

I bought this set of stamps from someone in a FB group for selling used craft items.
It is Stampers Anonymous 'Time Traveler', and I also bought the Dylusions 'Puddy Cat' set. (See my previous post)
The seller included some DOX backgrounds in the package, so I have trimmed one of them to make the base of my tag. I stamped the luggage with GinaK amalgam ink and clear embossed it. I used the Frayed Burlap DOX to paint with and coloured the handles with a metallic gold Sharpie.
I stamped the word onto a scrap, distressed it with some 'mop-up' ink and cut it into a banner shape. Finished off by punching a hole and tying some string through

Challenges
Art Impressions - gift card/tag
The Artistic Stamper - words
Allsorts - a touch of vintage (the luggage looks very vintage)

happy balloons

Hello again
Time is running out on a few challenges, so I made this one this morning using a new to me stamp from DR's Puddy Cat set,
I stamped onto a scrap of paper and clear embossed, then coloured with a mix of copics and promarkers.
The balloons were punched out of scraps, using an old punch that I have had for many years, and I added letter stickers to spell 'happy'
Stamped and embossed the birthday word and attached with mounting tape. I drew the strings with a black pen to look as though they were tied to the cat's tail. I also added a pale watercolour to the white background.

Challenges
Double Dee - balloons
Creative Inspiration - something new or old (my old punch)

Let your dreams take flight

Hello and welcome

Today's card features the beautiful swallowtail butterfly from Satmpin Up. I have used a lovely sparkly EP from Emerald Creek, but it doesn't scan well. I added some colour with Inktense pencils, added a watercolour wash in the background, and then stamped some portions of stamps by Paper Artsy and Indigo Blu.
The sentiment is from Close to My Heart.
I edged with a black marker, then layered onto matching coloured card, then onto a black card base

Challenges
Uniko - cool winter colours
Mod Squad - use an animal, bird, insect or reptile
Allsorts - take flight

Be Merry

Hi everyone and welcome

Today's card features the cutest little robin from a set called 'Rockin Robin' from Clearly Besotted that I won recently. I also won the matching die set
I used a piece of DP for the lower piece of the background and used a stitched edge die for the upper half
I stamped the branch, holly, and words directly onto this and stamped the robin on a separate snippet and used mounting tape to raise him up a little
I have coloured with Promarkers, but forgot to take note of the colours, I think the red is R766 Molten Red, and the brown O837 Praline.
I also added some white spots with my Sharpie paint pen

happy everything

 Hi everyone
I am back today with a card that loosely follows the instructions by Tracy Evans in the magazine Australian Simply Cards issue 117
For my stencil sponging, I used cracked pistachio, spun sugar, and abandoned coral, distress inks. The random stamping was also with the coral, and I used a very old Paper Artsy stamp from a set
The cat is from Inkadinkadoo 'Catitude', stamped onto a snippet, heat embossed and cut out with my Scan n Cut, happy is a die cut and 'everything' was computer generated.
I am very pleased with the end result.

Textured Poppies

Welcome
Today's card was made with my poppy die using a technique I saw recently, where a tissue was folded, layered onto a card and then cut. The texture was formed by applying paint lightly so
that the top layer wrinkled. I also added some gold paint to highlight.
The background I found in my 'spares' box, and I never made a note of how I did it, but it looks as though I have swiped ink pads lightly over a textured card. I added a ribbon to finish.
