Day 7 of lockdown and at least another 7 to go!
I have been trying to make one card per day and this is yesterdays, but had to wait for some sunshine this morning to get a photo. I was trying to show the WOS sparkle on the butterfly and the fine glitter showing through on the background, but it did not happen. I wish I knew the secret of capturing sparkle!
The background was a piece of watercolour card that already had a glimmery wash on it. I added turquoise Brusho and spritzed with water. After it was dry I added in some random circles with a blue Promarker, then diecut out the part circle. Birthday was stamped with Brilliance Graphite Black and I die cut the 'happy' twice from some leftover scraps The butterfly was recycled from another project, and I added WOS to the wings

Lockdown is tough, trouble is when you've been in it for months as we were here in the UK it's hard to get back to doing things normally again....whatever normal is anymore!

A beautiful card Glennis - love the turquoise and that is a great background.
If I manage to capture sparkle on a project, it is often by photographing it under electric light with an altered setting on my camera... sometimes I can get it in sunlight by using a close-up setting and tilting the card.
