going shopping!

Hi everyone and welcome
Today's card is suitable for a little girl's birthday, and I can add a greeting when I know who I will be giving it to.
I cut out the shape with my Cameo and sponged the edges,
the flowers were punched from vellum and then embossed with a swiss dots EF. I used a blue pen to outline the edges and then added some blue punched circles for the flower centres.
A ribbon tied to the handle is the finishing touch.

Red Poppies

Welcome
Today's card uses a background that I coloured with shaded lilac and bundled sage distress inks
The poppy stamp is from Stampin up and I have coloured with the following markers
Promarkers - Chilly red, Molten red, Herb green
Copics - lime green and lettuce
I have coloured my peeloff greeting in green to match the poppy buds, but it looks black in the scan. I sponged the edge with walnut stain distress ink, then adhered to the white base card

Peace, Love and Hope

Hi everyone and welcome

A very quick post from me, as I have lots to do today

This is the sketch from BYSHCardmakers , and I have used a 6x6 pad called Metallic from My Minds Eye. Instead of matting, I edged the pieces with 'chilli red' Copic marker, and adhered to a red card base

The stamp is from stamp-it, which I stamped with red versamark and clear embossed

Birthday Greetings

Welcome, and thanks for dropping in today
Today's card uses a die from Serendipity Stamps, which I cut in a scrap of red card and again in white
After roughly sketching some rocks and the sea with my copic markers, the lighthouse was adhered and the white pieces filled into the gaps.
I used a little WOS in gold for the lights and windows to give a touch of colour, then added the birds from Stampers Anonymous and the greeting from Stampin Up

Red Butterfly

Hi everyone, thanks for popping in

Today's card features embossing and debossing. I do not have the name of the folder, and suspect it may have been a freebie with a magazine.

I made three panels and ran my Memento ink pad (lady bug) along on two front sides and one reverse.

The butterfly was coloured to match and adhered over some white string, which was roughly gathered into a circle. I added some red 'bling' to the centre row of flowers and also the butterfly body

Here is a second pic after I decided to sponge the edges with the ink

Have a beautiful day

Hello everyone

I am back again with a bright and cheerful pink and white card.

I stamped the flower (unknown) twice onto pink paper and fussy cut. I coloured the centre with a black sparkly marker

The sentiment is from the same set, and I would love to know who it is by if anyone can help

After attaching a scrap of striped DP, I stamped the sentiment and clear embossed it, then adhered just the centre of the flower so that the petals can be raised

Just for You

Welcome crafty friends.

I made this card following one of Natasha Foote's videos, she has some wonderful ideas, and her videos are short and to the point.

I chose 3 patterned papers and stamped with one of the scribbly birds, twice on each dp. I fussy cut (excluding the legs) and then layered onto a different colour, after cutting into squares to arrange in a row.

I cut a piece of acetate a little smaller than my slimline card base, and attached the 3 squares with mounting tape. I also attached the message (Woodware stamp set) on mounting tape, then wound a piece of Baker's twine around and tied in a bow. The acetate was attached with red-line tape, where it was hidden behind the elements

Patch and Pebble

Welcome back
Today's card uses a lovely House Mouse stamp that was sent to me by Mia in Greece, thank you so much Mia. A cute stamp of Patch and Pebble getting ready to plant their Spring garden!

I stamped onto a piece of white card using Memento 'London Fog' so that I would not have to colour the fur. To colour the rest I used
Promarkers - cornflower, caramel and chilly red
Copics - nile green, cool grey  and ash rose
After trimming and edging with the grey and red, I attached to my card which had a lovely striped piece of DP adhered

Butterfly Best Wishes

Welcome back

We have just returned from a weeks holiday in our Motorhome, which was most enjoyable

It has been a while since I joined with the Penny Black Saturday challenge, but decided to make this card from my box of Stickeroos, which has been sadly neglected. This is from Butterfly Party #10-181

I cut the border from the sheet to make a frame for the cream panel which has been distressed and edged with walnut stain DI. I used the flower, plus some of the background, the two little rows of flowers and one of the butterflies, which I mounted on a scrap of card and raised with mounting tape. I then added the Best Wishes sticker and the gold dots.

simple beauty

Hi everyone
My card today uses a background piece from my experiments box. It is on watercolour card, but I am not sure what I used to colour it. I embossed it with a folder by Jeart Craft called 'swinging flowers' and then swiped over the raised parts with Memento 'pistachio'
I have added a punched dragonfly which has wings painted with  clear Wink of Stella

Thank you

Welcome back

Not a very clear picture, sorry but my scanner does not like anything that is not perfectly flat.

I have used Concord & 9th's turnabout stamp called 'mini spirograph' to create my flower, using various colours of Memento inks. I remember my children having a Spirograph set when they were small, it was fascinating to see all the different patterns!

The sentiment is a Woodware stamp, and I have layered the piece onto a pretty coral coloured card base, and adhered a very fancy beaded brad to the centre of the flower

Pretty pink

Welcome

I am back again this morning with a card using a piece of artist paper for my background.

I sprayed a little puddle of  'vintage pink' Glimmer Mist onto my glass mat, and then dipped my piece into it. Dried with my heat gun then repeated a couple more times. I wish you could see the pretty shine it has in certain lights.

I used an unnamed stamp set and Brilliance 'graphite black' for the dandelions and butterfly.

Aquarius

Welcome
I have just finished making this card for my dil's birthday on the 18th. She also shares the day with our second eldest grandson and also the daughter of a niece, so it is a busy time
This is a design by Greg Sukendro who is a master in paper sculpture. He has written a number of articles in  Australian Cardmaking magazines.
I raided my scrap box and found enough pieces to use in the colours I wanted
I would like to enter the challenge at the Snippets Playground with this card

Thanks for visiting and happy crafting!

Uniko's 10th birthday

Welcome
I last used this image in March of last year, but thought I would use it again for the birthday celebrations at Uniko
This is one of Bev's free digi's that she has offered on her website, called Coffee and Friends.
I coloured slightly differently from last time, making it a little brighter using sparkly Sakura pens and also Smooch inks.
I have  doodled around the edge too

Flowers and heart

Welcome
Today's card was begun with some stencilling for the background using Memento London Fog
I then overstamped with my flower using Memento Cottage ivy, and also stamped again on a snippet.
I coloured with a red copic, but wanted a wee bit of shimmer so I sprayed with Dylusions Shimmer Spray, 'touch of red' (Sprayed all over my hand at the same time - woops)
Once dry, I fussy cut the flowers and adhered to the card with Art glitter glue
The sentiment is a Woodware stamp, stamped onto another scrap, and I cut it into a flag and edged with red copic. The heart is actually a red sequin but has shown up as black.
I also added some black micro beads to the centre of the flower

Spring Colours

Welcome

The challenge this week at Passion for Markers is Spring Colours

I used two of the stamps from my Asian Artistry set by Stampin Up, placing them towards the bottom left. I coloured with the following markers - Promarkers, Ocean Teal, Herb Green, Pastel Blue, Caramel, and Copics - Lime Green and Yellow YO6

I used a TH die for the top right corner and then layered onto some pretty soft teal card. Three 'diamonds'  added the finishing touch.
