Masculine birthday

Welcome all

Today's card was made for a fishing buddy of my husbands, who turned 79 this week.
The base is a rocker card and I added some dp cut with a stitched die. I then diecut a stitched circle in kraft, and added my stamped image which I coloured with Copics and cut out with my Brother Scan n Cut
He was very thrilled with it

White on white is very difficult to photograph, so hopefully you can see this one clearly
My base card has a slight texture, and I have diecut my leaf background and flowers in a pearlescent heavy paper.
I have embossed 'with love' along the bottom edge and also added a straight line just above using my Martha Stewart Score Board
To finish a glued a tiny pearl button at the centre of the flowers

Pretty Pink Flamingo

Welcome back and also welcome to my new follower Karen

Today's card follows the theme for Unstampables - Paradise Pretties with a twist of into the wild, which I did not do
The background paper certainly reminds me of paradise with flamingos and palm trees. Wish I was there, as today we are experiencing thunder and heavy rain!
I cut out my fringed flamingo with my Cameo Silhouette cutting machine then layered it onto a sponged shape. I also added the word 'Aloha"

Happy Couple

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog

Today's card features one of the very first stamps that I bought, and sad to say it has been reclining in a box for a number of years. However I thought it would be perfect for the challenge at Art Impressions where they are asking for 'Couple' cards
I stamped onto a 'messy play' background, and again onto a separate scrap  so that I could colour them, and glue to the card.
A little yellow to ground them and a peeloff added.
All layered onto a black base card
The boy cat is a deeper blue IRL

Challenges

Pixies Crafty Workshop #365 - using snippets
Crafts Galore # 69 - a/g

Flowers of Nature

Welcome

Today's card is so pretty IRL I love the soft greens on my panel, the result of a play with Brushos. I ran a black marker around the edge to make it stand out. The flower is the result of my first play with foamarin, I added some tinting, some stamens, and some little blue glass beads. The leaves are die cuts (unknown) and the verse is from a Darkroom door set I have also added some sequins. I followed the sketch from Tuesday morning sketches, but reversed the position of the flower and the message

Winter Christmas

Hi everyone
This is my second post today, CASing a lovely card I saw on the internet.
First of all I made a water coloured background to sit behind the cut-out oval of my card. I then stamped the tree twice with Hickory Smoke Distress oxide, and once with Forest Moss DOX. The word Christmas was cut from a clear stamp and merry cut twice and layered

Sailing

Welcome

I saw this idea in one of the card magazines that I read, and loved the look, so I decided to replicate it.
I selected some spotty DP for my background, and then blue check to represent the sea, attached to a rectangle of white card which has been die cut. I cut a circle for the body of the boat and then cut it in half. The sail is drawn freehand, as are the flags. The mast is a toothpick and the 3 portholes are 'Candi" which I added dots and stripes to. I finished off with a birthday peel off

Animals

Welcome

Today's card features a beautiful stamp which I do not have a maker for. If anyone knows I would be very grateful.
I stamped directly onto a piece of DP from a 6x6 pad by Lawn Fawn called Watercolour Wishes that I won last year., and coloured with copics.
The message is a clear sticker which I adhered to a scrap of the same paper and cut out with a die. Both pieces have been edged with a black copic and then layered onto a card base

Black and White

Hi everyone
Today's card is for the challenge at Artistic Stamper.
I have CASed a card that I saw on Pinterest, but used  different stamps. The top panel has a splatter stamp from Paper Artsy (with extra dots with a copic), the middle one is from Simon Says Stamp, (flowers coloured with a black copic), the bottom one is unknown, and the bigger butterfly is from  Cornish Heritage Farms set called All Things Considered., which I embossed and then also coloured with a black copic
They are all stamped with Gina K amalgam.
The ribbon trim is actually black card, and the 2 small butterflies are punched. I also used some spotty washi tape
Challenges

Time Out Challenges - black and white
Pixies Crafty Workshop - using up snippets

Under the sea

Hello and welcome
This was a commissioned card - the request was for two diving buddies and underwater
I made a background in sea-like colours using various inks and paints and then stamped with my Kaisercraft stamp and versamark. I used 2 different ep colours for the seaweed. I found the diver images online, printed and fussycut, and also adhered some diecut starfish. All mounted onto a dark blue card
They were very thrilled with the result
