'Girl Power'

Hi and welcome to today's blog post.

I have switched back to the legacy version as I cannot seem to get rid of the extra redirect step on the new version. I hope they can fix this ASAP

Today's card is from a set by 'Acid Drops & Whatnots' who I believe have now closed. Such a shame, as I loved their designs.
I stamped with black GinaK ink and clear embossed, both the image and the message
I have coloured with the following Promarkers
C446 Marine
G956 Ocean Teal
Y247 Summer Sun

The panel was then layered onto a matching coloured base

I love Promarkers #415 - a/g with colour option

Friends are Flowers

Hello to my crafty friends and new followers, Crystal O Minkler and Cindy Holmes

Today's card uses a piece from my experiments box, distress inks on watercolour paper, for the background.
I stamped the Crafty Individual's CI-385 with Emerald Lagoon DI and embossed with Dyeboss EP
I stamped the sentiment (an old one from Printworks) in the same colour and cut it up so that I could attach to the side without covering the flowers.
I added a little  of the same colour to the dragonfly and also some sparkle with a Sakura Gellyroll pen
Layered onto a pretty turquoise base card

Yeehaw!

Hi and welcome

So Cute!

Hello

Today's card is a commission for a family with a new baby. The mother has had Chihuahuas for some time and they were previously her 'babies', so the card had to include them all
I found some suitable images and assembled in a pram cut from some spotty blue paper from my scrap box, and also found some spotty buttons in my stash for the wheels.
Apparently they loved it

One Layer

Good morning crafty friends.
A bit cool and showery here today!

Today's card features one of the first stamps I bought, called Birds on a wire
I stamped it directly onto my inked background, masking, so that I could colour one bird in red
The sentiment was also printed directly from my computer, and I finished by stamping the 2 corners

Birthdays

Hello everyone

Today's card features 2 very old stamps, but I thought the went well together. I stamped the cake onto a snippet from my scrap box, and embossed with silver ep. I then used my stitched oblong die to cut it to size. The candles are coloured with Sakura silver sparkle pen, and I finished off with 3 purple gems to match.

Woodgrain

 welcome back!

today's card is my interpretation of instructions  I saw on how to make a panel background from Gina K
I used a woodgrain embossing folder and swiped  di ink pads down and added more colour with a sponge.
The image was rescued from my scrap box, and I am not sure where it came from.
I layered it on dark green to match my base card and then added a sentiment on a flag to finish

Tropical Flamingo

Hello everyone

Today's card was made entirely from bits and pieces from my scrap box, apart from the base card, which has a slight fleck in it.
I cut out the flamingo and tropical leaves using my Cameo Silhouette, and added some shading to some of the pieces. I also added a matching green border
The yellow flowers were diecut from a small piece that had been dry embossed. The flower centres were also diecut from some black scraps. I raised three of the flowers with mounting tape

Real Flowers

Hello and welcome

Today's card uses a very old set from Hero Arts called Real Flowers.
I placed them in a row in my Misti and coloured with various markers. I then used a versamark ink pad, stamped over and clear embossed. I then had to add another flower to complete the row. I scored some lines and also stamped the message in black.
I CASed this idea from Kath, of handmade by Kath  Check out her blog, she does some wonderful projects

Butterflies again!

Hi everyone
I have been missing in action for a few days as we have been having internet problems.
We now have a new router supplied by our ISP and that has speeded things up considerably.
But!  this morning my PC would not connect at all although all the wireless devices did. I spent over 2 hours trying to find a solution and then discovered that I could connect with IE but not Chrome, so I uninstalled it and re-installed, and now it is all good. I don't know why these things mysteriously happen!!
So - to my card
Time is running out for the unstampabelles challenge, so I have made this one.
I used a dark navy card base, and attached a piece of DP (unknown brand)
I diecut my butterfly twice and glued together with Art Glitter glue
The message is from Craftwork Cards which I have had a long time, and I also added 3 blue sequins
Challenges
Unstampabelles #100 - wind and/or wings

Another Butterfly

Hello

Todays card uses a butterfly which I cut with my Cameo. The top layer is black card stock, and the bottom layer is a scrap of sparkly card that I had been experimenting with.
The layered oblong was also cut on my Cameo, the files were for one sheet wonders using 12 x 12 papers, so I have cut the whole page of different shapes. You will see more of these on the future!
I added some stamping using Shades Dye Ink in Vanilla cream which toned in nicely.
The stamps were  Rubber Dance 'round in circles' and the sentiment is by Lawn Fawn

Challenges

Your Next Stamp #138 - lots of layers (I have 4)
