Fantasy!

Hello and welcome to my blog
Todays card is a Lavinia image which I flipped to look the other way. Layered onto some pretty pink striped dp and then onto a pink card base. I stamped the sentiment down the side and added 3 pink sequins. Also coloured the wings and flowers with a pastel pink Promarker, and then coated with clear WOS, which does not show in the scan

B & W + 1

Hi everyone

The challenge at Allsorts this week is for black and white plus one. I have used a geometric background die in black and layered onto a white base card. My butterfly (from an old Martha Stewart set) is stamped in Mermaid Lagoon DI onto turquoise card and embossed with dye boss ep. I left some of the shapes in to give the butterfly some ground

Pretty Poppies

Hello and welcome

I have had this card sitting on my desk and I don't think I have blogged it yet. The stamp is from Stampin up and called Pleasant Poppies and I have separated this bunch from the rest. I have coloured with Promarkers, trimmed and layered onto black card and then a white card base. I have cut the 'happy' 3 times on my new Scan n cut and glued together, and stamped birthday in white detail EP

Sparkle and shine

Hello and Welcome.

Todays card is for the challenge at Southern Girls for Sparkle, shimmer and shine. I have tried to capture the sparkle with my photos but it is not easy. The unicorn's horn has a coating of gold sparkles, the flowers are a very shiny fabric, and I have added diamantes to the eyelashes. I hope you like my fun unicorn, and thanks for visiting

Dream

Hello and welcome to my blog
Today's card uses the 3 colours as requested for the Rubberdance facebook challenge - red, turquoise, and yellow ochre.
I have used two of their sets here, 'round in circles' and I am not sure of the name of the words set.The background is a combination of distress inks to try and get a yellow ochre colour, turquoise is a Tsukineko dauber duo, red is Versafine satin red, and the word Dream is coloured with a promarker. I stamped it on a seperate snippet, coloured and then cut it out with my Scan n Cut
I am entering this one at Rubberdance on facebook

Dotty stencil

Hello and welcome

Today's card has a background made from a dotty stencil and distress inks. I stamped the flower directly onto the panel and again onto some scrap card with my flower stamp from Stampendous which I have had for years. I coloured the edges with a red pencil and glued some very tiny beads to the centre. The stems are hand drawn. I finished with a wee piece of washi tape and a little metal heart

Sentiment in focus

Welcome to my blog

Today's card was made very quickly, by die cutting a piece of Dp with a stitched rectangle die. Stamped and embossed with 'Ebony Shimmer' ep, layered onto a toning paper, edges sponged with Wilted Violet DI, and then attached
to a black card base. The ep is quite sparkly IRL, but does not show in the scan
