bbq master

Hello and welcome.
This is possibly my final post for 2019 - I can't believe where this year has gone!!!!

I have 3 family birthday's in January, so this is the first of them.
I have made this one for my Son-in-law who loves cooking on his BBQ
The whole card was cut out with my Cameo and I raided my snippets box for the black and grey card. I hope he likes it!

Starry!

Welcome and a Merry Christmas to all my lovely followers

A quick and easy Christmas card today using a piece of DP layered onto a red base card. I scuffed up the edges with my Tim Holtz tool. I then added  Merry Christmas peel-off which I coloured with an a red Sharpie alcohol marker, and some gold stars to finish.

Be Merry

Hi everyone and welcome

Today's card features the cutest little robin from a set called 'Rockin Robin' from Clearly Besotted that I won recently. I also won the matching die set
I used a piece of DP for the lower piece of the background and used a stitched edge die for the upper half
I stamped the branch, holly, and words directly onto this and stamped the robin on a separate snippet and used mounting tape to raise him up a little
I have coloured with Promarkers, but forgot to take note of the colours, I think the red is R766 Molten Red, and the brown O837 Praline.
I also added some white spots with my Sharpie paint pen

happy everything

 Hi everyone
I am back today with a card that loosely follows the instructions by Tracy Evans in the magazine Australian Simply Cards issue 117
For my stencil sponging, I used cracked pistachio, spun sugar, and abandoned coral, distress inks. The random stamping was also with the coral, and I used a very old Paper Artsy stamp from a set
The cat is from Inkadinkadoo 'Catitude', stamped onto a snippet, heat embossed and cut out with my Scan n Cut, happy is a die cut and 'everything' was computer generated.
I am very pleased with the end result.

Textured Poppies

Welcome
Today's card was made with my poppy die using a technique I saw recently, where a tissue was folded, layered onto a card and then cut. The texture was formed by applying paint lightly so
that the top layer wrinkled. I also added some gold paint to highlight.
The background I found in my 'spares' box, and I never made a note of how I did it, but it looks as though I have swiped ink pads lightly over a textured card. I added a ribbon to finish.
