Another Butterfly

Hello

Todays card uses a butterfly which I cut with my Cameo. The top layer is black card stock, and the bottom layer is a scrap of sparkly card that I had been experimenting with.
The layered oblong was also cut on my Cameo, the files were for one sheet wonders using 12 x 12 papers, so I have cut the whole page of different shapes. You will see more of these on the future!
I added some stamping using Shades Dye Ink in Vanilla cream which toned in nicely.
The stamps were  Rubber Dance 'round in circles' and the sentiment is by Lawn Fawn

Challenges

Your Next Stamp #138 - lots of layers (I have 4)

butterflies

 Hi and welcome
A quick post this morning as the butterfly challenge at Allsorts closes soon.
This is a very simple card, but looks great IRL, as the background dp is very sparkly. Unfortunately it does not show up in the scan.
I have adhered the piece to my white card base, added a strip of pink edged with a Fiskars punch, cut the word in vinyl, and attached and added a toning butterfly with diamantes for her body

Challenges
Allsorts - butterfly
AAA birthday - things with wings

Fun and Laughter days

Hello friends and welcome back

Today's card features an image from Bizzy Becs Store that I was lucky enough to won in a recent challenge.
I have coloured her with Promarkers and diecut her out, adjusting the die to fit the image. I layered a piece of dp on the left side of my base card, added the image and then a sentiment, stamped onto a snippet, fussy cut and raised with mounting tape.

New nest!

Hello friends, I hope you are all keeping busy under lockdown

I have made this card for a co-worker who was able to move into her new apartment the day before lockdown
I have used a 'new to me' stamp set from GinaK "Owl always love you" which I believe is no longer available
I stamped with  Gina K black amalgam ink and clear embossed, then used a mix of Promarkers and prisma pencils to colour

Challenges

AAAcards - sketch

Friends

Welcome back

Today's card was made to send to a young friend for Easter, I know it is not your usual chicken or bunny card, something a little different.
I painted my rainbow background on Fabriano watercolour card, then stamped the images from a NBUS  Crafty Individuals set with GinaK amalgam ink and clear embossed. I also stamped the young couple again on a scrap of white so that I could colour them and adhere to the b/g
Promarker Colours used,
C426, R738,Y437, O949, O837, V528, Y524

Challenges
Stamping Sensations - Somewhere over the rainbow
The Cats Pajamas #367 - sharing hope

Birthday Butterflies

Hi and welcome to my lovely visitors.
I have taken a break from spring cleaning to spend some time in my craft room, as there are a few challenges I wished to enter.
I searched through my box of backgrounds, and chose this one, I wish I could remember how I made it!!
As it has a touch of gold I decided to emboss my image from Crafty Individuals in a bright gold ep
I stamped the butterflies again on a scrap and coloured them with Promarkers, then raised them with mounting tape. The sentiment is from Stampin Up, but I covered the word gorgeous and just used the Happy Birthday part.
The piece was outlined with the same blue promarker, and then attached to my card base

Challenges
Paperbabe #116 - Birthday
Dare to be Artsy - pastel colours (my b/g is pastel)
Artsy Stamper Challenge #13 - things with wings
Pixies Crafty Workshop - using snippets

Thinking Of You

Welcome back

Today,s card is for a friend who's husband now has terminal cancer.
Because we are in lockdown, we cannot visit, so I decided to make a card for them

I cut the feather outlines in a gold card on my silhouette and backed with some dp (unknown brand that I have had about 4 years) I rounded the corners of the blue layer and stamped in white detail EP, a flourish from a Stampers Anonymous set (mini ornates) that I bought in New York a number of years ago and have never used! I added a gold peeloff (also very old) remember when these were so popular! I don't think I will ever use mine up!
Layered onto a white linen look deckle edged base card, and the feathers are raised with mounting tape

challenges
Allsorts #566/7 - something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.
I used old - dp, stamp, peeloff
blue - background paper
Crafters Castle  #28- a/g
The Crafters Cafe #239  - a/g
