This week at Paper Artsy we have been inspired by Joanne Wardle. I was very impressed with her CAS style, and actually made 2 cards for the challenge - this is the first - the second one is in the next post.
I am also entering in

Best Wishes
Today's card for the challenge at Pixie's Playground has a layer of pretty paper stuck onto a white card. I stamped the sentiment and embossed with white detail EP (love this stuff!) I have added a flower which is cut from snippets from my box, and look at those lovely stamens - a lovely punch that I won from Pixie!

Happy Birthday
This is a very quick card that I made for a wee boy who loves engines, so I hope he likes it!
I layered the spotty paper onto white card, stamped the message and added embellies.
I would like to enter into the challenge at
Totally Paper Craft for birthday boys.

Thinking of You
The current challenge at CuttlebugMania is for nature.
I have embossed the green background in my 'bug, and also diecut 2 spellbinders butterflies, from a snippet of off white card, which I then sprayed with Glimmermist and attached with the second layer raised. It has a lovely sheen. I trimmed a snippet of black for the sentiment
I would also like to enter the challenge at Simon Says for embossing, and Pixie's Playground because I used 2 lots of snippets!

Inspired by....
.......Alison Bomber at
Paper Artsy!
I have tried to follow the style and colours of some of the examples.
The background was sprayed with Dylusions and the gaps sponged with antique linen DI. I then stamped with my Jofy stamps and went over them randomly with a fine black sharpie. I also sponged on some gold paint through a stencil.
I would like to enter this at Paper Artsy, and also Vintage Stamping for anything from the garden.

Pink and Pretty
This sweet wee girl is Maggie from Cuddlebug Cuties, and I have coloured her with my limited supply of Promarkers.
R346, R327, Y417, O727, V546
The background is pink vellum embossed with my swiss dots folder, and I have added some small pearls to both pieces. I stamped the message in pink, and also sponged the edges with the same pink.

Butterflies
Today's card has been made by stamping with Emboss it 'clear' and then using clear embossing powder on white card. I then used distress inks to make the background, worn lipstick, antique linen, broken china and victorian velvet, and then splattered with a little water. This is for the butterfly challenge at Sweet Stamps and anything goes at The Paper Parade
