ink transfer

Hi everyone, and welcome to my blog
Today I am sharing a mixed media wall art that I have made from a kit.
The big white butterfly is done with the transfer method of printing on wax paper, then laying the image face down and rubbing, to transfer the ink. I have used various other stamps direct to the gessoed base and added some flowers, stencilling, butterflies, and some turquoise colour randomly

casing Monica!

 Hi everyone.
I am just sneaking in at the last minute to join in at Stamplorations 5th birthday bash!

This is Monica's design that I was so impressed with!

This is my take on it using a Kaisercraft stamp, and the warm wishes is an unknown brand.
I cut it out with my Stamplorations die (which I always have to adjust as US sizes are different from ours) and layered onto some DP and then onto a white card base

Adorable

Hi all, I hope you are all well

My card today features one of the crazy dogs from Stampers Anonymous, and I have used the mood board from Sum More Fun as my colour palette. The base card matches the first colour, green grass, a patch of blue, a brown shaded dog and a paler fawn background

a little birdie told me!

Hi everyone
Todays card is the result of some playtime to make some backgrounds. I added Dylusion lime twist, Glimmermist, Peacock feathers DI, and another green spray onto my craft mat. Spritzed with a little water and swiped my heavy watercolour card through it until I was happy with the coverage. After drying, I stamped some music from Crafty Individuals and also some leaves from another CI stamp set.The birds are from a Ranger set called Little Birdies,  I stamped them as well on a scrap, coloured with a mix of copics and promarkers and adhered them over the stamped image. The panel was then attached to a cream card base

Winter Blues

Hi everyone.
Todays card features one of the birds from the Crazy Birds set by Stampers Anonymous. I have cased a card that I saw on Pinterest, but do not know who the original one was by, so apologies for that.
My background was done using the shaving cream technique, I trimmed and layered it onto a dark navy card base. my bird was stamped on the card and again onto a snippet and coloured with copics.  I added some sequins for interest.

Under the sea (again)

The Mood Board this month at Sum More Fun uses rather grungy colours, and I was able to use another Brusho and Infusions background that I had made earlier. I stamped the seahorse onto a snippet with Bundled sage DI, stamped the starfish with Tattered Rose DI and die cut them, The seaweed was stamped with Brilliance graphite black, then clear embossed. I also added some highlights with a white Sharpie pen.

Vintage Neutrals

Hi everyone.
Today's card is for my entry at Paper Artsy for vintage neutrals. Vintage is one of my favourite styles, although I hadn't done any for a while.
I used one of the stamps from HotPicks, HP1216, stamping onto some old creamy card, which I then tore around, and sponged the edges. It is layered onto 2 dp's and some very old flowers added.
