Feathered Friend

Welcome

Today's card features a lovely stamp from La Blanche - it does not have a title.
I stamped it with Adirondack 'expresso' and lightly coloured with pastel pencils. After distressing the edges, I adhered it to a toning brown base card.

I am entering the challenge at Allsorts for 'feathered friends

One of a kind!

Welcome to my blog
Today's card features another of  Tim Holtz' crazy dogs. These are such fun stamps to have, and I try and use them whenever I can.
The challenge at Time Out is 'Unique' so I thought this would suit it perfectly.
I have layered 2 different papers from a lovely pad that I won (LOTV On a High Note) and then attached my image that I had coloured with copics. The colllar has some wink of stella added and it is so sparkly IRL! Words are computer generated and I also added a couple of 'Candi' to finish off

Celebrate in green!

Welcome

My card today features one of the birds from Stampers Anonymous. I first adhered a piece of card that I had played with using different paints, and it is much greener IRL. I then stamped my bird, and stamped again on a seperate scrap of card, which I coloured with Copics. The words are from a very useful set from Paperbabe

The Artistic Stamper - colour it green

Girl Power

Welcome
Today's card is for the challenge at Southern Girls where the subject is 'girl power'
I have chosen to use an image of 'Rosie the Riveter' Here is some info about her

Rosie the Riveter is a cultural icon of World War II, representing the women who worked in factories and shipyards during World War II, many of whom produced munitions and war supplies. These women sometimes took entirely new jobs replacing the male workers who joined the military. Wikipedia
I Have layered the image onto a black stitched circle and adhered to some DP and onto my white base card. I printed the words and cut into a fishtail banner. Finished off with some Nuvo drops in Liquid Mercury to represent rivets.
I hope you like it
