Hi everyone.
Today's card is based on the sketch at Paperbabe.
I have used my Paperbabe "Peony and Bud' stamp, slightly off the page, using wilted violet oxide di. I also used a Paper Artsy stamp for the speckles at the top. The corners are rounded and then I layered onto a black mat, added a strip of washi, and the die-cut word.

Paperbabe - sketch
Stamplorations - CAS (I did not use the masculine option)
Crafts Galore Encore - a/g

Zebras
Today's card features a beautiful stamp which does not need any embellishment at all. I stamped onto a very pale cream card snippet, then layered onto a di background, then layered again onto a cream card base. I used chalks to lightly colour the trees and the ground.

I'm back!
Hi everyone. It is good to be back home after a wonderful two weeks River cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam. It always takes me some time to get over the long flights, the second one was 15 hours!
I have had time to make this CAS card which I cased from Coralynn Murray of Sunrise Stamper. The background stamps and the happy birthday are by Paperbabe. I used my Misti with the words so that they would show up well.
I would like to enter this in

and also Rubberdance for the June colour challenge

Favourite blue
Hi everyone.
I have had fun making this card which is called a 'z' fold. I used a black base, which I scored in 2 places with my ScorPal and then a pretty blue dp (one of my favourites) layered onto white for 2 of the panels. The third panel is white with sponged blue edges, and a message stamped. The narrow strip, also scored in 2 places, has layered blue flowers on the first section and the next 2 were stamped, with the flower coloured to match.

Vintage car!
Hi everyone.
Today's card was inspired by a tutorial on StampTV, for making woodgrain backgrounds, and also the lovely mood board at TaylorMade4U
I used a woodgrain embossing folder and swiped it with various shades of brown and black ink. I trimmed it and layered onto some dark green, and then onto my off-white card base. I layered a rectangle of a dp onto cream, and also double layered my image. Sorry I don't have the brand of this stamp, I hope someone may know. I then added the 'journey' message, as I thought it was most suitable for this image. I will enter this at TaylorMade4U,
and also Mixed Media #36 for 'put a stamp on it'
Allsorts for embossing (my background is dry embossed)

'stamps and wings'
Hi everyone, thanks for calling.
Today's card features a stamp from the Stamplorations set 'Big Bloom Factory' I used my Kaleidacolour 'riviera' ink pad, to stamp the 2 tone flowers, and was pleased how it turned out. The bird is from a set by Aladine 'Clear Oiseaux' stamped onto a snippet and edged with blueprint sketch di. I have followed the sketch for Stamplorations April challenge, and would also like to enter in the Things with wings linky party
Because I have used snippets, I will also enter this at Pixies Crafty Workshop and Allsorts where it is 'B for ..... ( I have blue, blooms, a bird and borders)

Ginga cat!
Hi everyone!
Isn't this the cutest ginger cat? It looks a little more red on the screen than in real life.
I used some stamps from 'Kevin's Gang' and masked and stamped to show the other cats behind the main image. I blended some copics to make this ginger colour, added the greeting, and doodled around the edge with a fine black pen. Layered onto a black base card.
Challenges - Rubber Dance - black and white plus one other
Crafty Animals - using animals
Stempelsonne - anything goes
I will send this of to a cat-loving friend for her birthday
Take care and have a great week

Hello everyone, I hope you are all enjoying your Easter break. We are expecting visitors shortly, so hope to get this post finished.
I have used the colours for this month's Rubber Dance challenge. The brown dots were done with Liquid Pearls dark chocolate, all layered onto a white base card.

a little birdie told me!
Hi everyone, I hope you are all well.
The present challenge at Paper Artsy is to use the colours blue and ochre, so this is my interpretation. I started my background using a mixture of DI's, but couldn't quite get the right colour, so I added some brusho's and Infusions, and spread the colours with a paint brush. I then embossed with a woodgrain folder. .The bird is by Tim Holtz, coloured with copics, balloons are a punch, and the words are from a Diana Wakely scribbly birds set. I will add a birthday message to the inside when I decide who to send it to
Challenges -
Paper Artsy - blue and ochre

The Artistic Stamper - backgrounds

Cupcakes
Hi everyone. I have had a productive week - it is good getting back into the swing of cardmaking.
Today's card is for the challenge at Allsorts, they are wanting cakes etc, so I thought this would be a good stamp to use. I stamped it 3 times and coloured it with copics. The 3 sticker was glittered with KindyGlitz, and I used clear Wink of Stella over the icing.

Spring!
Hi everyone, I hope you are all well.
Today's card features a beautiful stamp by Indigo Blu. I first made my background using distress inks on my craft sheet, spritzed with water and smooshing the card through several times. I then stamped with Shades Dye Ink (citrus oranges) and stamped again on some scrap paper, so that I could fussy cut the flowers and layer them up. I added some micro beads to the centre of them and also some white splatters to the background.
Challenges -
Rubberdance - everything spring

Architecture, and the key of the door!
Hi everyone.
The challenge at Paper Artsy is for 'doors, windows, and arcitecture. I have chosen to use this lovely print of a Venetian scene. I have lightly tinted it in places with Marvy Markers, distressed the edges with Vintage Photo DI, and layered it onto a background which I stamped in French Script. I finished off by adding a little key (for the door)

CAS and sky blue
Hi everyone, I hope you are all well.
Today's card was an experiment - stamp and emboss with white detail ep, and then colour. I used copics and Promarkers to shade the leaves and flowers. This is a stamp that I won from Holley's blog, I do not know the brand.
I will enter in the following challenges
Stamplorations CAS and sky blue
and also
Stamplorations, stamps and spring

Celebrating a birthday
Hi everyone.
I am back with a card I made after a little shopping spree.I purchased the EF and the stamp set on sale in a local chain store, both are by Ultimate Crafts
After I had embossed the blue card, I highlighted the design by swiping it with Brilliance Pearlescent blue. I also trimmed the flowers from the top so that I could layer it over some pretty dp. I stamped the birdcage in Brillance Lightning Black and fussy cut it. The bird is stamped in black Memento, and shaded a little with Copics. I added an organza ribbon across the embossed piece, and shock! horror! I added a peeloff!
I would like to enter in the challenge at Scrap and Craft for Celebrations, Noor Design for Spring, And Penny Black and More for anything goes with stamping
Take care and have a great week

Infusions!
I have been playing with my Infusions this afternoon. What a fun product!
The background was made a while ago, using a paint medium and a brush to spread the colours. Istamped the flowers etc from my Jofy set, and then mixed the colours with an acrylic paint medium so that I could paint the flowers.
colours used:-
emerald isle (leaves and grass)
are you cerise (some of the flowers) then added blackcurrant to the mix (for some of the circles)
then added violet storms to the mix for the darkest part of the flowers. I added atouch of Wink of Stella in gold to highlight parts of the flowers. I will enter this at Paper Artsy.and also Craft Stamper

I have done some recycling with this card by cutting out the butterfly, and tearing the stamped words at the bottom. With the addition of some washi tape to form an edge, and adhering to a mint coloured card, I have given it a whole new look.

A very warm welcome to my new followers as well.
A very warm welcome to my new followers as well.
The challenge at Rubberdance this month is to use these 3 colours.
I had fun making a background using Brushos, turquoise and lemon. I stamped the flowers (from Stamplorations), embossed with white detail ep, and swished over with some magenta paint, and then wiped it back a wee bit with a baby wipe. The leaves are from a die, which I have forgotten the name, and the stamp is also unnamed.
