Art quote

Hi everyone
Today's card uses rubbish!
The background is some sheet music that I used when I was spraying flowers (orange/green speckles) painting something blue, stamping in gold, and some gold ink.
It looked a bit 'arty' so I cut a piece to fit my card base and the stamped the paint brushes to the right. The quote is stamped and then cut out with a Stamplorations die

Take care, and thanks for looking

Wow, what a great idea!! I don't think my "scrap paper" ever ends up looking as artsy as this! Maybe I just haven't really looked. Beautiful card and thanks for the inspiration! Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.

A super card Glennis, such a good idea to use your scraps - it certainly does look 'arty' and is perfect for your quote.

Fabulous snippet card, Glennis, and you'd never know it was made of your 'rubbish' at all. The background is lovely and the quote is perfect. xx

Good wishes on the foot healing. Hope the enforced rest is giving you some needed relaxing time...have your coloring supplies handy! What a marvelous use of the bits & pieces from other creations, as this turned out to be arty indeed. Sometimes the overspray papers can become a terrific background. In this instance, it surely did. Clever you to have had the music sheet behind your 'creating', and brilliant to add the absolutely perfect sentiment as a focal point. Well done...wish my rubbish would turn out like this!
