Resist

Today's card was made using the resist technique. I first stamped my flower with Versamark and then heat embossed with detail white EP. I used some washi tape to mask off the sides and then sponged with di's, wilted violet, cracked pistachio and broken china. A little flick with some water finished it off

Challenges - AAAcards - resist
Addicted to stamps and more - make your mark
                     Stempelgarten - CAS
The Foiled Fox - simply irresistable
                     Paperbabe #80 - anything goes

Thanks for visiting and have a great week

violet and black birthday

Hi everyone.
Today's card is based on the sketch at Paperbabe.
I have used my Paperbabe "Peony and Bud' stamp, slightly off the page, using wilted violet oxide di. I also used a Paper Artsy stamp for the speckles at the top. The corners are rounded and then I layered onto a black mat, added a strip of washi, and the die-cut word.
Challenges -

Paperbabe - sketch
Stamplorations - CAS (I did not use the masculine option)
 Crafts Galore Encore - a/g
Southern Girls #162 - 'stuck on you' (I used washi tape)

Thanks for visiting, and have a great week

New baby card

Hi everyone, and a warm welcome to my 2 new followers.
I have made this card for a co-worker, who has just become a grandmother for the first time. Her new grandson arrived at the weekend - no name yet!
This is an un-named stamp which I have coloured with my Promarkers,
Caramel, Silver lining Argent, Arctic blue, and Cloud blue.
I used a stitched circle die to cut it out, then layered onto som matching blue dp. The edges are sponged with Broken China DI

Challenges -
Passion for Promarkers - Birds, bugs, or butterflies
The Artistic Stamper - winged things
Penny Black and More - a/g
One Crazy Stamper - a/g
Vilda Stamps - a/g

Zebras

Today's card features a beautiful stamp which does not need any embellishment at all. I stamped onto a very pale cream card snippet, then layered onto a di background, then layered again onto a cream card base. I used chalks to lightly colour the trees and the ground.
Challenges - Fashionable Stamping - Let's go wild
Southern Girls #161 - a/g
                                             Pixies Crafty Workshop #283/284- snippets

I'm back!

Hi everyone. It is good to be back home after a wonderful two weeks River cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam. It always takes me some time to get over the long flights, the second one was 15 hours!
I have had time to make this CAS card which I cased from Coralynn Murray of Sunrise Stamper. The background stamps and the happy birthday are by Paperbabe. I used my Misti with the words so that they would show up well.
I would like to enter this in

AAAcards #91 - CAS birthday

and also Rubberdance for the June colour challenge
