The stamp is 'leafy vines' from Hero Arts stamped onto black card, which I edged in silver pen. The wee butterfly is from a pack of broken jewellery, which I added some colour to with a copic marker. I think gilding flakes could be my latest favourite product (for this week anyway)

Gorgeous card! I've never used gliding flakes - I'm not even sure what they are. I love seeing these new products - this is beautiful!
Gorgeous card Glennis, I can imagine the gilding looks even more spectacular IRL, I will have to have a go at this technique. What did you use? was it embossed with sticky stuff? I am trying to work out how you made this as I will have to give this a go :-)
thanks for joining us on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Just stunning Glennis and I can imagine in real life it is shimmery and beautiful...love your card posted below this as well, the blue is gorgeous.xx{aNNie My Personal Blog}
I second Lorraine's questions. I love gilding flakes, too, if you mean flakes of metal leafing. I wonder how you got them to stick to only part of the image. It looks really cool!
Oh, I just realized that what looks like white on the card is probably silver flakes, so the whole image is actually covered with flakes. Am I right?
I applied 'flitter glue' from Indigo Blu to the stamp, stamped onto the card, and then applied the gilding flakes, which are available in different colour combo's. This one is mainly in silvers, which is why it looks white in the pic
A beautiful card Glennis, a very dramatic design.
Have a lovely weekend.

Love the Gilding flakes technique! On black the flakes are just stunning!
This must be stunning IRL against the black.

I can only imagine what it looks like in real life but it certainly has wow factor for me scanned. Thanks for joining us at Noor Design UK for our Here Comes Summer challenge.

A very elegant card, Glennis. Must try again with my gliding flakes. I failed dismally first time around and threw them out of my pram!
Not sure how I missed this one Glennis so apols for being so late, but what a beauty it is, really striking work.
