Today's card follows a sketch from Cardmaking Paradise. I have not been able to join in many of the sketch challenges, as we have been away too much!
The background paper is a pretty piece of Washi paper, and all edges are sponged with Inkadinkadoo Black Noir ink pad. The plain mauve piece is embossed with swiss dots folder, and the circle is cut out with scallop circles. A piece of mauve ribbon is set across the centre. I have added a sparkle to the flower with a Sakura pen, but it doesn't show in the scan.
I would like to enter the following challenges
Cuttlebug Mania - something for Mum
A Blog Named Hero - glitter and bling
Annabelle Stamps - anything goes
Pixies Crafty Workshop - use snippets
Thanks for looking - have a great week

Never heard of Washi paper before but it is indeed very very pretty. Like your take on the sketch too. Hugs Mrs a.
A lovely card Glennis! Super colours and great use of snippets - the way you softened round the edge of the image with some mauve is so effective. I keep forgetting to do that (whilst it's still in the die?) until it's too late and I'm at the stage where I could wreck a card that's almost finished.
Hugs, and thanks for coming to play! Di xx
Lovely snippet card, Glennis. The flower is beautiful. Elizabeth xx
