Sketch challenge at Cardmaking Paradise

 Every 2 weeks or so Sara at Cardmaking Paradise challenges us with a sketch.
This is my version, using a free stamp from Craft Stamper magazine and some snippets from my scrap box. I sponged the edges with Broken China distress ink.

Girly Birthday

This week's card features this really cute girl in her frilly dress. I have coloured her with Promarkers, and cut out with a scalloped oval nestie.
The leftover piece of DP is from a pad by Studio Calico, and the corner dies are from Memory Box, cut from a piece from my snippets box

This week's challenge at
 Cuttlebug Mania is to use cats!
I have diecut mine with my CB and also used it to emboss the two orange strips. I don't know who the word stamp is by, as I have lost the packaging.

First card for a while!

Today's card follows a sketch from Cardmaking Paradise. I have not been able to join in many of the sketch challenges, as we have been away too much!
The background paper is a pretty piece of Washi paper, and all edges are sponged with Inkadinkadoo Black Noir ink pad. The plain mauve piece is embossed with swiss dots folder, and the circle is cut out with scallop circles. A piece of mauve ribbon is set across the centre. I have added a sparkle to the flower with a Sakura pen, but it doesn't show in the scan.
