Lavender & Lace

Hi everyone.

Today's card is for the challenge at Allsorts Challenge blog. I created a 'dox' background and multiple stamped with one of the first stamps that I ever bought. It is called Lavender Flowers, by an Australian company - Paper Pleasure Plus Pty Ltd - a company that is no longer active. I attached some narrow broderie anglaise lace olong the edge and added a bow to the stems.
I will also add it to the Stamping Sensations challenge which is 'anything with flowers'

Have a great week

Tissue technique

The challenge this week at CASmixup is for tissue, stamping, and your choice.
I have used a piece of my tissue coloured with brusho's, crumpled. and then embossed the higher 'bits' with gold embossing powder.
I trimmed a piece and edged it with gold, and adhered it with 'jac' paper.
I stamped the message and embossed with bright gold ep. and then attached a butterfly embellishment which is my choice

Sail Away!

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well.
I am hunkered down in my craft room, trying to keep warm,  with the heater on and a blanket over my knees - we are experiencing very cold winds, and snow in many parts of the country.

Today's card was inspired by the subject of 'aqua' at Paper Artsy. I remembered that I had this piece of card that I had played around with some aqua paint, so I die cut 2 pieces and layered them to make my sea. I highlighted the edges with a white Sharpie. The yacht was diecut from some textured white card, and the sky was sponged with an un-named ink pad. I added some clouds with the same ink pad,  and the seagulls and message were stamped with Memento tuxedo black.
Challenges -
Paper Artsy #9- aqua
Penny Black and More - for the boys
Happy Little Stamper - anything goes with dies
Pixie's crafty workshop #289/290- using snippets (the yacht)
Cards4Guys #173 -beside the sea

Thanks for visiting, and I appreciate any comments

pretty pastels

Hi everyone, sorry I have been absent for a few days.

My card today has a background made with distress oxides swiped on with a credit card. The stamps are new ones that I have just recieved from Angelique, so this is the first outing. I diecut the snippet of green so the fairy was not suspended in the air! It matches the green di a lot better IRL!

Resist

Today's card was made using the resist technique. I first stamped my flower with Versamark and then heat embossed with detail white EP. I used some washi tape to mask off the sides and then sponged with di's, wilted violet, cracked pistachio and broken china. A little flick with some water finished it off

Challenges - AAAcards - resist
Addicted to stamps and more - make your mark
                     Stempelgarten - CAS
The Foiled Fox - simply irresistable
                     Paperbabe #80 - anything goes

violet and black birthday

Hi everyone.
Today's card is based on the sketch at Paperbabe.
I have used my Paperbabe "Peony and Bud' stamp, slightly off the page, using wilted violet oxide di. I also used a Paper Artsy stamp for the speckles at the top. The corners are rounded and then I layered onto a black mat, added a strip of washi, and the die-cut word.
Challenges -

Paperbabe - sketch
Stamplorations - CAS (I did not use the masculine option)
 Crafts Galore Encore - a/g
Southern Girls #162 - 'stuck on you' (I used washi tape)

Thanks for visiting, and have a great week
