Summer Flowers

 

Good afternoon all

I have been missing in action for a bit as we have had workmen here all week, and I have not been able to access my craftroom until today.

Today's card uses one of my favourite stamps from Crafty Individuals.

I have stamped it onto a distressed ink on water colour paper background that was in my 'ready to use' box. I then coloured the daisy with a white Posca pen and added a little glimmer to the butterfly wings and the small flowers on the right. After tying a silver cord around, I attached to a pale mauve card base

Good afternoon crafters. It is a horrible wet and windy day today, so I am catching up on a few things in my craftroom. I was going through a box of bits and pieces and found this 'wise old owl; that I had printed some time ago, so I am not sure where I got it from.

Hello again

Well, I can't think how long it is since I made an ATC, a few years at least! I used to belong to a swap group here, but sadly it closed down.

I cut my ATC from some DP (Victoria Park) and stamped lightly with a clock stamp that was given to me, so no idea of the maker, using DOX twisted citron. I used the same ink to blend around the edges.

  The word stamp is by Studio G

Hello crafters

Todays card has a painted on watercolour paper background. The three fun stamps by Provocraft are at least 20 years old. I bought them in Canada when I first started cardmaking. I stamped with Versafine onyx black and added some highlights with a red Posca pen

Today's card uses a stamp set from a friend I believe it is Amusing Birdies from Craftworld. I have coloured with the following markers

Promarkers - Marine, Arctic Blue, Orange

Copics - Moss, Lime Green

Creative Graphics - Light Orange, Pale Yellow, Mignonette

I added a piece of DP (Authentique) and cut it out with a stitched rectangle die

Todays card is another one using napkins

I started my background using mustard seed and dried marigold distress inks through a stencil. I then stamped with hickory smoke using 2 stamps from a PA Hot picks stamp set

Butterflies and flowers

Hello crafty friends

Todays card has six pretty flowers with sponged edges, adhered to a white card. This was then run through my cuttlebug with an embossing folder. A sparkly die-cut butterfly with a pink background was added and adhered over a matching pink ribbon. Then layered to a pink base card.

80th birthday

 

Hello again

I have made this card for a very dear friend who I have  known for over forty years, and whose birthday is the same day as mine. They are having an afternoon party at the retirement village where they now live, but because of my OH's not so good health, we are unable to go.

I printed the image and layered onto matching blue card. The sentiment is computer printed, numbers

were cut on my Cameo from black glitter paper and I also added some sparkly trim and 3 black rhinestones. I hope she will like it

Hello all

This is a commissioned card for the grandson of a work colleague. She asked for something to do with numbers or maths. I cased a card that I saw recently, but used various sizes of number stickers as well as 5 balloons. I think she was very happy with it.

I have used a lovely DP from a 6x6 pad by Couture Creations and die cut (Stamplorations) the botton section . I also edged the hills, trees and house with Kindyglitz for a sparkly finish
