Cardmaking Paradise

I have made this card for my youngest Grandson's first birthday. We hope to get to see him next month when we 'cross the pond'
This is one of the fabulous templates from Cardmaking Paradise
I have textured the front layer with my cuttlebug to give some dimension.
Sara is offering some lovely blog candy (see pic on sidebar), and here is all the information from Sara's blog

birds of a feather

I have been playing with a new set of stamps that I won from Holley, I thought they were rather cute!
I needed to make an orange and blue card for a swap I am in, so this suited the purpose. As you can see I have stamped the birds in a row, and the sentiment on a card scrap which I cut out with a nestie die. I then added the ric-rac, and did the bird's eyes with a gel pen.

Getting a bit sketchy!

I loved the sketch posted on Bizzy Becs blog and this is my interpretation, in pretty pink shades. I have used a pink shaded ribbon, Pink lace down the right hand side, and finished off with a crocheted flower with a pearl in the centre.

'kids'

Second post today!!
Another boy's card to add to my stash.
I have used a Penny Black stickeroo, mounted on a nesties scalloped shape. The centre piece is raised on mounting tape to make it stand out. I have added a birthday peeloff and some extra pics from the sticker sheet.
It looks really bright and cheerful - so some little boy will love it!

Today's card is a simple printed image, layered on black, and mounted onto a tan card. I have added 3 buttons, and filled the centres with gold glitter, and a gold birthday sentiment.

Today's card was made for a swap in a Yahoo group that I belong to.
