 Sneaking in with my last entry for BYSHC.

 Unfortunately the gold does not show up well

Today's card uses one of the birds from Tim Holtz's crazy birds set, one of my favourite sets to use.

I have used a background from my experiments box, made with Distress inks in wilted violet and possibly shaded lilac.

I stamped the bird on a scrap and fussy cut to colour with DI's again

 I then die cut an oblong and glued the bird on. Sentiment was printed on my PC

I have printed the image and used diluted gold paint around the edges of the base card, then did some white splatters

Hello and Welcome

I have made a start on Christmas cards and this is one of them

I diecut the snowman (Creative Expressions) from a strip of white card and adhered to my cardbase which had some snowflake paper attached

The scarf and nose had a touch of red marker and the black is marker as well

I attached a sentiment outlined with the marker

I almost forgot that I wanted to enter the Allsorts challenge with this card.

I am not sure where I got this background from, as it was in my box of 'ready to use' pieces.

The stamps I think are indigo blu and I used a pretty piece of lace across the middle
