Mauve and pearly

Hi everyone

I am just sneaking in at the last minute with my entry at Paper Artsy.
I made this card for a co-worker who's husband passed away.
I coloured the beautiful image from 'Flourishes' with pearlescent paints, added the sentiment, sponged the edges and layered onto a violet card Base

Autumn leaves

Hi fellow crafters
Todays card started with a piece of watercolour card that I coloured with Brusho's and Infusions.

Sparkly Christmas

Hi, I am back again today with a last minute entry at Paper Artsy.

The owl!

Hi Everone.
I needed to make a card for a birthday, and wanted to use this owl stamp that I bought in Montreal nearly 2 years ago, which had not seen ink!
I stamped on the grey card and then again on my base colour, and also white. I fussy cut the owl, and then the eyes and layed them onto the die cut branch.

Challenges
Rubberdance - dark blue, burnt sienna and grey
Pixies Playground - snippets
Happy Little Stampers - a/g with dies
Allsorts - trees and leaves (I hope my branch counts)

edited to say that I have added some leaves to the branch

CAS lily

Hi everyone

Today's card was the result of having a little play with my distress oxides.
I masked off an area and applied the dox with a sponge, then sprayed with a little water. I then used my misti to over stamp with this lovely lily from Creative Expression "festive florals'  I stamped a little on the background with Brilliance 'lightning black' which has a lovely gold look in certain angles. The message is stamped in the same ink. I then coloured the lily with promarkers, and added gold 'smooch' to the stamens.

Challenges

AAAcards #100 - sketch
Penny Black and More - close to nature (my lily)
The Flower Challenge - favourite flower (playing for prize no 5)
Addicted to stamps - favourite Stamp

NBUS!

Hi everyone.

A last minute entry for Darnell's NBUS challenge.
I made this card for my bil's 80th birthday. The stamp was given to me by a friend, and it was so appropriate for this card, as he is certainly one of a kind!!
Sorry the scan is a little wonky

pinks and purples

 Hi everyone.
The first day of October!!!  Where has this year disappeared to?

My card today features the colours for the challenge at Paperbabe. I have used a purple base card, and layered it with a paler mauve embossed with my swiss dots ef. I also embossed my birthday folder, and trimmed it down. The die from Memory Box is called 'stitched aster corner' I cut it twice, first in green (for the leaves) and then in pink for the flowers, which I trimmed off and layered. I added some pink gems to finish.

Challenges

Paperbabe - picture inspiration
Southern Girls - driving me dotty
Cuttlebug Mania - fruit, berries leaves etc, I chose leaves
Darnell's NBUS - The first outing for my corner die
