Easel card

I had a little time for myself today, so had a play with one of the templates from
Cardmaking Paradise (link on my sidebar)
Sara designs templates for all occasions and is well worth a visit.
I covered the apron shape in a striped paper and the stamp is from Darkroom Door. The watering can stamp is coloured with Sakura pens and the wee fabric flowers are from my stash.

Flowers!

I needed to make some birthday cards this month, and this is one of them. The background is stamped with a Penny Black stamp, and the large flower I have stamped on plain pink, and then on white, which I trimmed back and layered. I finished off with a stamped message. I can enter the challenges at

Birds on a Wire

To me, men's cards are a problem, but I was quite pleased with this one. The pale blue crackled paper is stamped with Penny Black's Bird on wire, then layered onto pale cream card which I edged with Martha's copper ink pad.The 'holy' piece is a cuttlebug die-cut, also rubbed with the copper pad, as is the wee tag. All layered on to kraft base card.

Watercolouring

Following Poupette's instructions for my first attempt at colouring with distress inks.
I stamped the image with Ranger Industries Emboss It pad on watercolour paper, then sprinkled Winter Illusion EP, and heat set. Next sprayed with water, and used a watercolour brush and worn lipstick and peeled paint distress inks to colour.
The pink paper is embossed with swiss dots folder, and the butterfly is one layer pink and the top layer vellum.
Finished off with a piece of lace from my stash. I would like to enter the following challenges.

My new stamp (again)

I am just loving this stamp set that I won - it is so versatile. Today I have stamped it with black brilliance pad on to white paper and mounted it onto black which I edged with gold Krylon pen. I glued some Japanese paper on the left hand side, added the image and also the little shrinked embellishment, which I edged in gold as well. I hope you like it. Simply Less is More Challenge

There is a new challenge blog called Less Is More and the have set their first challenge as 'pink black and white' I have used my new stamp from the Oriental set that I won, and just tinged the flowers with pink chalk. I then added 3 pink diamantes at the bottom. I think this should fit the challenge

A scrap card

This card was made using leftover pieces from a card from a card I had previously made. I tore them into strips and then ran them through my cuttlebug to give some extra texture. The darker pieces I then swiped with a copper metallic stamp pad. I arranged them on the card with the lighter pieces vertical and the darker ones woven through. I then sprayed with glimmer mist (which doesn't really show up here) added a wee tag and a sentiment. I am entering it at
