A birthday card for 2011

The birthday list for 2011 has started, and I have made this for a friend in England.
I followed a sketch from Polka Doodles for their challenge, and used a hand coloured image

Cuttlebug embossing

I just love this Christmas tree folder - I have used it with vellum and lightly coloured the raised surface. I attached it to my card with peel off photo corners, which I coloured to match and also added some small gems to decorate the tree

A little Christmas wreath

Th Craft Barn have a challenge going to make an embellishment from one of the samples on their blog.
I have chosen to make this lovely wreath as shown by Chris Dark. I have changed it a little as I didn't have quite the same equipment, but still pleased with the result. I am sure my wee granddaughter will want to make some as well, when she comes to stay next week

A lovely sketch

I really enjoyed doing this sketch I chose to use one of my Penny Black stamps, 3867K Constellations. It is one of my favourites. I stamped it on a textured card and layered it over a piece of scrapbooking paper from my stash. The flowers are punched and tinted slightly.
I can enter this at the Simon Says Stamp challenge as it is their sketch

Makes a change from Christmas cards

I have used a textured card as the base. The top section is a mottled pink which I have stamped with Plum Archival Ink and PB 2642K Daisy Pattern. Finished off with ric-rac braid, a crocheted flower with a gem in the centre, and a happy birthday peeloff
