happy birthday bird

Welcome

Today's card features one of the Crazy Birds that I have not used very much, but he just seemed to suit this design.
My background was made with a piece of blue card and embossed after rubbing my Cracked Pistachio DOX pad over the raised side. I also flicked some gold acrylic paint over for more interest.
I coloured my bird with Promarkers, Y247 and R555, added a diecut 'happy' and printed birthday on my PC

Challenges
Allsorts - a/g (2)
Creative Knockouts - Celebrations (2)
Mod Squad - make your own patterned paper

I have made this one for my Son-in-law who loves cooking on his BBQ
The whole card was cut out with my Cameo and I raided my snippets box for the black and grey card. I hope he likes it!

Be Merry

Hi everyone and welcome

Today's card features the cutest little robin from a set called 'Rockin Robin' from Clearly Besotted that I won recently. I also won the matching die set
I used a piece of DP for the lower piece of the background and used a stitched edge die for the upper half
I stamped the branch, holly, and words directly onto this and stamped the robin on a separate snippet and used mounting tape to raise him up a little
I have coloured with Promarkers, but forgot to take note of the colours, I think the red is R766 Molten Red, and the brown O837 Praline.
I also added some white spots with my Sharpie paint pen

Challenges
Passion for Promarkers - Christmas Critters
Takes from the craftroom - It's Christmas
Creative Knockouts - Christmas Delight
The Artistic Stamper - Christmas is Coming

happy everything

 Hi everyone
I am back today with a card that loosely follows the instructions by Tracy Evans in the magazine Australian Simply Cards issue 117
For my stencil sponging, I used cracked pistachio, spun sugar, and abandoned coral, distress inks. The random stamping was also with the coral, and I used a very old Paper Artsy stamp from a set
The cat is from Inkadinkadoo 'Catitude', stamped onto a snippet, heat embossed and cut out with my Scan n Cut, happy is a die cut and 'everything' was computer generated.
I am very pleased with the end result.
