Best wishes

A simple card today, just in time for a couple of February challenges.

I sprayed water on the card and then scribbled lime green, turquoise, and orange watercolour crayons in a diagonal pattern. When it was dry I stamped with a turquoise ink pad, the script and the birds from Stampers Anonymous Mini Ornates CMS064 set. I tied a matching ribbon around and added a diecut which has not scanned true to colour. I then adhered it to a turquoise card base.

Challenges
Rubberdance - orange, turquoise, lime and/or hearts
Paper Artsy - watercolour
Allsorts - starting with 'b' - birds and best wishes

reach for the stars!

Hi everyone, sorry I have not been around for a few weeks.
Today's card was made for a February birthday. I used a snippet from my ever-growing scrap box and printed an image that I found on the internet.
I used some sparkly gold thread to link the stars together, and the attached some little gold stars over the holes. I used my gold pen on the edges and then attached it onto my base card.

Challenges
CardzTV - monthly birthday
Southern Girls - Nature (stars are nature!)
Pixies Crafty Workshop - using my snippets
DLArt - a/g
Crafting by designs - card for a friend

Roses Are Red....

Today's card features a lovely rose stamp that I found at a charity shop. My background was a combination of DI's and Dylusion sprays. I stamped again on an old dictionary that I use when I am spraying, so this is the same red dylusions. It is embossed in bright gold. I do not know who the sentiment is from, as I bought it from a fellow crafter. It is stamped in red and embossed with detail clear.

Challenges

The Artistic Stamper - Roses are red
Bizzy Becs - a/g
Stamping Sensations - anything with flowers
Penny Black and More - Love, hearts and flowers
Stamplorations - paint it red

round in circles!

Hi everyone
I have cased this from a card I saw somewhere, and loved the style. If anyone knows whose it is, I would love to acknowledge them.
I typed the sentiment onto the card first, then diecut 2 circles, one black, and one using some of my Brusho's playing, using my stitched circles dies, and glued them in to position, after tying a spotty ribbon around.
Using my Misti, I first stamped onto the card, and then onto a snippet, which I coloured with copics and overlaid onto the card. Doing it this way means I don't have to cut out the feet and tail!

Challenges -
Southern Girls - circle embellishments
Cuttlebug Mania - happy birthday
CardsTV - a/g
Noor Designs UK - celebrations

Congratulations

A card I made this week using some lovely cream metallic card stock. the background piece is diecut from the same card, sorry I can't remember the brand, someone may be able to help with that!
I added a pretty piece of gold ribbon, tied in a bow, and the glasses of bubbly, which is a very old stamp from Artee Stamps (Australia), stamped in gold.
A peeloff congratulations finishes it off. (I must start using up these, as I have so many!)

Challenges
Pixies Crafty Workshop - I used a snippet to stamp the glasses
CardzTV - a/g
Allsorts - old favourite (my stamp)

I may add some more later, as my granddaughter has just arrived, it was her first day at Intermediate school today

A little bit vintage

This is my second post today, so I am catching up a little!

I have used my brand new stamp that I won from Serendipity, and stamped it on a 'mop-up' piece of card from my previous post. I coloured the bike purple, and cut it out with my wonky stitches die. I attached a pretty piece of lace to the base card, and attached the bike on top. The flowers were a pale green, so I tinted them olive with a copic marker and glued pearls to the centres.

Challenges-

Rubberdance - use purple, blue, and olive green, and make it vintage
Happy Little Stampers - watercolours (in my background)
Penny Black and More - use something new

HB2U

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well.

Today's card features one of the birds from the Stampers Anonymous 'bird crazy' set.
I made my background using 2 colours of Brusho's on watercolour paper. The HB2U was then printed from my pc. I used my Misti to stamp the bird, and stamped another on a scrap paper. On the second bird I reversed the colours, and glued it over the first image. The little parcel is a peel-off and I coloured just the ribbon with a sparkly blue pen. The whole piece was then attached to a black card base.

Challenges -
Bizzy Becs - a/g
Colour Crazy challenge - a/g with colouring
Allsorts - no patterned papers
