pretty flowers

Hi everyone.
First of all I would like to wish you all a healthy and happy Christmas, and thank you for your lovely comments throughout the year.

My card today is a favourite stamp from Stampin Up and I have coloured it with Promarkers and Copics using the theme from the Rubberdance Challenge - rose, light blue, peach, and glitter. I blended the rose and peach to colour the flowers, and layered onto pale blue card which I coloured with chalk pastels. The glitter comes from Wink of Stella, which is on the flowers, but doesn't show very well in the scan, and also the 3 diamantes.

Challenges
Rubberdance - colour theme
AAAcards - sparkle
Southern Girls - all that glitters

Art quote

Hi everyone
Today's card uses rubbish!
The background is some sheet music that I used when I was spraying flowers (orange/green speckles) painting something blue, stamping in gold, and some gold ink.
It looked a bit 'arty' so I cut a piece to fit my card base and the stamped the paint brushes to the right. The quote is stamped and then cut out with a Stamplorations die
Challenges

The Artistic Stamper - use a quote
House That Stamps Built - a/g
Pixie's Crafty Workshop - snippets

Take care, and thanks for looking

Santa

Hi everyone, I am back again with a Christnas card this time.
My background is from a Kaizercraft 12x12 pad, I distressed the edges and adhered to a plain cream card base.
The Santa is from a Tim Holtz set, which I stamped with Adirondack 'espresso', then cut out with a stitched circle die. I cut the edge of the holly and leaf and slipped the circle behind. The bauble diecut was given to me, so I am not sure who makes it. I rubbed it with some Treasure Gold 'spanish topaz' before adhering it

Challenges
DoubleD - use a Santa image
Happy Little Stampers - a/g with dies

Thanks for visiting and thanks for your lovely comments

Glitter!

Hi Everyone.
Today's card uses a piece of card that I was using up some paint on. The grandchildren were a bit too enthusiastic with their craft projects, so I picked up the extra onto an a5 card I had handy, rather than waste it!
I trimmed it down and layered onto my base card, then stamped my fairy from a Craft Sensations set with Memento tuxedo black. I used Kindyglitz on the wings, added some washi tape, a nrrow strip of purple glitter card and 3 clear gems.
Challenges
Joyclair - a/g
Southern Girls - inks and paints
CardzTV - a/g
Ribbon Girl - use an image
Allsorts - glitter

Thanks for visiting and have a great week

White!

Hi Everyone, sorry I have been missing for a while, but flew down to Christchurch to attend to some family matters. Unfortunately, I had a dizzy spell when I got up to go to the bathroom, and landed on the suitcase, so I am rather battered and bruised!!

My project that I have been working on for some time, and finally finished, started as  an ugly brown tray that I rescued from my work.

I sanded it down, applied 2 coats of gesso, and then used my homemade chalk paint for the final coat. The design is from the Graphic Fairy, and is my second attempt at image transfer. I am really pleased with the result, and would like to enter at Paper Artsy for the current challenge 'white'
