Red, white and blue!

This week's challenge at Allsorts, is to use the colours of your flag, which is of course red, white, and blue

I have used  older SU stamps for the words and the yacht, but first I made a background by swiping on some dox faded jeans, and di weathered wood. I restamped the yacht on white card and paper pieced the sails. The white highlights on the water were with a white sharpie, and I also added a wee bit of glitter on the water. Mounted onto white and then a red card base.
Challenges
Allsorts - colours of your flag
Southern Girls - use any image
Pixies Crafty Workshop - the white was from my snippet box

Thanks for visiting and take care

Poppies

Hi everyone. I am just sneaking in at the last minute with this entry for the Allsorts challenge which is for poppies.
I have used a lovely stamp from Crafty Individuals, and coloured it with copics and promarkers. I then trimmed it to size with my stitched rectangle die from Stamplorations The gold in the layered piece does not show up so well, but it looks very pretty IRL!
I can also enter at Paperbabe challenge, which is for flowers

Eiffel Tower

Hi everyone.
Today's card uses one of my favourite colours - I chose a piece of dp for my background, coloured a paper doyley with DOX inks, added a flower with a pearl centre, and an Eiffel Tower which I cut with my Cameo.

Birthday wishes

Hi everyone.
Another card to add today, as I have spent a few hours 'playing' in my craft room!

I have followed the sketch at Stamplorations, and also used warm colours - well you can't get much warmer than red!! The flowers are from a Stamplorations set, the words from a Paperbabe set, and all stamped with Versafine 'satin red' I added some washi tape, some white crochet cotton and 3 red gems. Then rounded the top corners and attached to a red card base.

                                          Stamplorations - never ending challenge

Black, white and pink

Hi everyone.

Today's card uses a NBUS stamp which I bought at Michael's whilst I was in Canada visiting my daughter. I stamped with Memento 'tuxedo black' onto a snippet that I had diecut with stitched rectangles from Stamplorations. I  embossed the black piece with my cuttlebug, mounted onto a white base card, and added a pretty pink flower.

Challenges - Pixie's Crafty Workshop # 291/292
Double D Challenges - Black and white and pop of colour
                     Cuttlebugmania - I included a bike
                     Southern Girls - flower power

Best wishes

Hi everyone.

Today's card is one I made for my sister's birthday. I found the instructions online, but forgot to save the site, so I cannot give credit to the designer. It is basically a step card, and the folds were marked on my Scorpal. I layered each section with a pattern paper on white, and then added a diecut scalloped oval and a patterned paper one and then added the message and the flower

Challenges - Scorpal #39 - diecuts
                     CardzTV - anything goes

Lavender & Lace

Hi everyone.

Today's card is for the challenge at Allsorts Challenge blog. I created a 'dox' background and multiple stamped with one of the first stamps that I ever bought. It is called Lavender Flowers, by an Australian company - Paper Pleasure Plus Pty Ltd - a company that is no longer active. I attached some narrow broderie anglaise lace olong the edge and added a bow to the stems.
I will also add it to the Stamping Sensations challenge which is 'anything with flowers'

Have a great week
