With Sympathy

Welcome.

This is a card that we don't always like to make, but it is good to have some on hand for when needed.

I used a stencil and wilted violet distress oxide to make a faint background on the left side. Then I overstamped with a lavender stamp by Paper Pleasure Plus, an Australian company which I believe no longer exists. I coloured the stamp with markers in purple and green.I coloured the peel-off with a black marker and layered it onto a scrap of purple card which I die-cut and then trimmed one side to make a banner. The black rectangle around the image is drawn with an art pen.

  3. This is gorgeous. Purple is such a soothing color and perfect for sympathy cards. The stem of lilacs is so pretty, and I love the stenciling you put behind it.
